The idea for a photo experience day was born after being being invited on to a couple of military bases, the first where I was able to get amazing access to the British Apache helicopters, and the second a view of the runway where the only flying Vulcan bomber was due to take off and land.  

A photo experience day is aimed at people who have a keen interest in photography.  You certainly don't need to be a professional, or either own the latest all singing and dancing camera, just a keen interest in learning and taking some cool images.  You'll get up, go out, join a group of like-minded people, take photos, and experience something new and hopefully interesting.  

Previous photo experience days have included summer driving tours around the Oxfordshire and Devon countryside, a slightly bizarre weekend in the East Sussex / Kent area that included a castle, a nuclear power station, and ritual like bonfire / fireworks night in Rye.
